Karma – the thing to be done

The fallen flower asked the mother tree : “why do you give us birth when you know we will end up being departed from you? Either the humans would pluck us or the wind would blow us from your binding and gravity would pull us for a downfall.” To this the mother tree replied, “my child, my karma is to bloom the beauty of the nature in the form of you, as a flower, my child, who will add to the colors of the nature and spread fragrance around. Your karma is to add joy to every soul who sees you and plucks you for the devotion of God or to gift someone, or to merely be on my body until the wind takes you away to become one with the mother Earth. And it is beautiful to know your own karma and to perform it without any return expectation, keep doing until you can, to serve the purpose of your being”.
